Unique at the SX trim level are features such as a black rear spoiler, a sporty gloss-black front grille, LED headlights with auto-leveling and dynamic bending light technology abilities, black side mirrors, a panoramic sunroof, and 18-inch gloss-black alloy wheels.

The EX and SX get dual charging-only USB ports for mobile devices. Mechanical/Powertrain - Kia Optima specs in Lancaster

Pinned to a 6-speed automatic transmission, this engine produces 185 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque. The EX goes with a smaller, 1.6-liter turbocharged I4 instead. Producing 178 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque, this engine is hitched to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission to provide the best gas mileage numbers on the Optima. The SX has a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4—which produces 245 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque—under its hood. The most powerful of the three engines, this engine is hitched to a 6-speed automatic transmission just like the 2.4-liter. The Optima has a MacPherson strut front suspension and a multi-link rear suspension—with the one on the SX tuned for a tighter, more exciting ride.
