Their specialty is steak, seafood, pizza, and sandwiches. We like to start with a chilled shrimp cocktail or a basket of oysters before enjoying the main meal. We then recommend the sirloin steak for two, the seafood shrimp platter, or the oyster sandwich. The dinners come with your choice of two sides, like grilled mushrooms, homemade coleslaw, or baked potato. Order a cheeseburger, fried shrimp, chicken tenders, or sirloin steak for the kids. Another popular choice is the bottomless griddle items, which are all-you-can-eat. The kids can have the yogurt parfait, the stuffed French toast, or the banana nut cakes along with a glass of chocolate milk or orange juice. For lunch, we suggest the turkey club wrap, the triple-decker BLT, the Monte Cristo sandwich, or the Angus cheeseburger. If you're looking for something on the healthier and lighter side, try their soup and salad combo. They make different homemade soups every day. If you have room for dessert after your delicious burger, the Butterscotch Pie is amazing. 3. JB's Downtown Grill If you're looking for a great burger downtown, JB's is located at 111 N Columbus St. They are open for lunch and dinner Tuesdays through Saturdays, lunch on Sundays, and closed Mondays. Our favorite burger there is the Pig and Cow, which is a clever name for a huge bacon cheeseburger. Their patties are made of freshly ground beef and their fries are hand-cut. All this adds up to a delicious place to grab a burger. Save some space though, because the Creme Brulee Souffle Cup is phenomenal. 4. Ale House 1890 This restaurant is also located downtown, at 149 W Main St. Ale House is open for dinner Monday through Friday, and for lunch and dinner on Saturday. They're closed on Sundays. This historic restaurant has lots of delicious entrees on the menu, but if you want a burger, you should give the Barnyard Burger a try. This is a burger patty topped with house-made onion marmalade, prosciutto, an egg, arugula, and garlic aioli on a regular or gluten-free bun.
