The entry-level EV9 is the Light RWD trim, which comes with an electric drive motor that provides an output of 215 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft of torque. This EV can reach 60 MPH in 7.7 seconds. Another highlight of the EV9 is the assortment of driver-assist features that come standard with the model. The blind spot collision warning is paired with an avoidance assist program that uses steering support to prevent changing lanes when another vehicle is detected in the EV’s blind spot. The forward collision system has sophisticated technology that can detect cyclists, oncoming traffic in junction turning, pedestrians, direct oncoming traffic, and more.
