1. Sherman House Museum
Sherman House at 137 East Main Street in Lancaster is a historic home once belonged to the remarkable Sherman family. The house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places and the Civil War Preservation Trail, is the birthplace of General William Tecumseh Sherman and his younger brother U.S. Senator John Sherman.
The house dates back to 1811 and has been restored to its original state when the Sherman family lived here.
